Accordion Days

The “Accordion Days”, which took place in the Babylon Club in Istanbul, in Malatya, Diyarbakir, Kars and Kayseri in 2004 and 2005 were a first in the history of Turkey.

We organized this event together with various European cultural institutes and Pozitif. Altogether 13 groups and artists from ten different countries took part, the musicians having international reputation. Turkish music lovers met the best of jazz, avantgarde and world music accordions, danced to Balkan tunes and tango. 

Both festivals were covered by the Turkish press, CNN-Türk, NTV and SVT (Swedish TV) featured the project.
